Cultural Event “Evening of Japanese Wine Tasting” (5th March, 2015)
On 5th March 2015, the Embassy of Japan organized an “Evening of Japanese Wine Tasting” at the Ambassador’s residence. Government Officials including Hon. Francois Kanimba, Minister of Trade and Industry, H.E. Mr. Charles Murigande, Ambassador of Rwanda to Japan, diplomats, international organizations, and people from private companies attended, and the event was held in very friendly atmosphere.
During the event, six Japanese wines (two white wines and four red wines) were served for tasting and the Embassy staff made a broad presentation about the Japanese wine. Many guests were savoring Japanese wines for the first time, and they enjoyed the taste of those wines, while exchanging their views on various topics.
