The Launching ceremony for the Energy, Water and Sanitation Agency (EWSA)'s Capacity Building for Efficient Power System, 27th May 2011
On May 27th, Ambassador Hatanaka attended a launching ceremony for the Energy, Water and Sanitation Agency (EWSA) ’s Capacity Building for Efficient Power System. This technical cooperation project aims at the improvement in efficiency and stability of power system in Rwanda through strengthening EWSA’s operation and maintenance capacity. The Ambassador, in his speech, said the government of Japan will continue to faithfully implement the international commitment made at TICAD IV in 2008 and that we are glad to be part of Rwanda’s significant socio-economic development. Hon. Ruhamya, Minister of State in charge of Energy and Water, thanked him for his remarks.
