Embassy’s Opening Reception, 9th July 2010
The Embassy of Japan hosted an opening reception on 9th July 2010. Ambassador Eugene Munyakayanza, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation attended the reception as a guest of honour besides three Rwandan Ministers and other government officials, diplomatic delegations and members of the international organizations as well as the business community.
In his speech, Ambassador Hatanaka said that the opening of the Embassy will contribute to strengthen the already existing friendly relations between both countries. Ambassador Munyakayanza on his part said that Rwanda highly values the friendship between Japan and Rwanda and wishes to make it stronger.
