The Launching ceremony for Capacity Development for One Village One Product Programme (OVOP), 6th June 2011
On 6th June, Ambassador Hatanaka attended the launching ceremony for Capacity Development for One Village One Product programme. The Ambassador, in his speech, stated that the project contributes to sustainable economic development as well as human resource development which is in line with Rwandan government’s policies to support SMEs. Mr Muhikira, head of trade and manufacturing of the Rwanda Development Board (RDB), thanked Japan for assisting local economy that leads to self-reliance of the people that further contributes to poverty reduction.
