  On 26th June, Ambassador OGAWA paid a courtesy call to Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Dr. Pierre Damien HABUMUREMYI. Prime Minister HABUMUREMYI expressed his gratitude for Japanese economic cooperation to Rwanda and his hope for more investment from Japan. He specifically cited energy including electric power generation supply, mining, agricultural processing and tourism as major investment fields that can be looked into by Japanese investors. Ambassador OGAWA pointed out that Japan would continue to enlarge its economic cooperation, and seek investment opportunities to reinforce the interest of Japanese private enterprises in the country.
