Ambassador's Presentation of Credentials

On 24 May 2013, H.E. Mr. Kazuya Ogawa presented his Credentials to H.E. President Paul Kagame at the Urugwiro Village, the Office of the President. Ambassador Ogawa is the second Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Rwanda, stationed in Kigali.

In the press briefing after the presentation to Kagame, Ambassador Ogawa expressed his desire to contribute to Rwanda's development in various fields, through the channels of the Official Development Assistance, trades, private investments, and so forth. As part of these, he also made a remark that the Embassy would create an enabling environment for increasing Japanese visitors, not only tourists, but also high-level figures both of the public and the private sectors.
