Reception hosted by Ambassador Ogawa

On 27th June in the evening, Ambassador Ogawa hosted a reception at his residence on the occasion of the presentation of his Credentials. Many guests from government institutions, such as Hon. Evariste Kalisa, Deputy Speaker of the Chamber of Deputy; Mr. Obadiah R. Biraro, Auditor General, Office of the Auditor General of State Finances; Mrs. Zainabu Kayitesi, Deputy Chief of Justice; Delegates from international organisations and NGOs, as well as Japanese living in Rwanda, including JICA officials attended the reception. In his speech, Ambassador Ogawa explained the outcomes of TICAD V, and his wish to further strengthen the relationship between Japan and Rwanda, particularly in the fields of economic cooperation, private investment and human exchange.
