April 24 - May 22, 2024	Application All applications are submitted to JICA Burundi Field Office during its working hour. (Deadline: 16:00, May 22) <<First Screening>> NOTE: The result of document screening, written examination and interview will be informed to the successful candidates only. (1) Document Screening will be in process, and the screening result will be disclosed to the successful candidates in the beggining of June.
Middle of June	(2) Written Examination Please read the Application Guideline No. 8 "SELECTION" and check your subjects of written examination.
Beggining of July	(3) Interview will be held online.
November	<<Second Screening conducted by MEXT>> The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan will select the candidates according to the application documents and first screening results.
January - February 2025	Final Results Final results will be disclosed via an email.
March / August	Pre-departure orientation The Embassy will support the scholarship grantees to prepare for the departure.
April / September	Departure for Japan
