Signing on the Grant Contract
On August 22, at the Embassy of Japan in Kigali, Ambassador FUKUSHIMA and Dr. NZAYISENGA Albert, General Director of Rilima Specialized Orthopedic Hospital (RSOH), signed a Grant Contract amounting up to 71,957 USD under GGP.
Speech by Ambassador FUKUSHIMA

RSOH is located in Bugesera District and is a specialized orthopedic and physical therapy hospital with approximately 100 inpatient beds. RSOH receives an average of 200 outpatients per week from all over the country and neighboring countries, including patients who are referred to RSOH from other hospitals. However, due to the limited capacity of the facility and the age of some of the rehabilitation equipment, approximately 150 patients seeking rehabilitation treatment are currently on a waiting list.

By equipping the facility with 26 items of rehabilitation equipment such as running machines and electrotherapy machines, this project enables RSOH to provide high-quality rehabilitation treatment to meet a wider range of needs and accept more patients.
