Make sure that you are in the qualified age and have the required academic background. The signature on the application form must be handwritten and all required documents on the APPLICATION FORM must be submitted to Embassy of Japan in Rwanda.

February-March | APPLICATION SCREENING All applications are collected at Embassy of Japan in Rwanda(Deadline: February 15th) FIRST SCREENING Written Examination (Englidh and Japanese) and Interview |
March-June | SECOND SCREENING The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) will select the candidates according to the document applications and first screening results |
July-August | FINAL RESULTS |
MEXT scholarship (Research, Undergraduate, College of Technology and Specialized Training College)
